This involves the recording of the financial transactions of a business, whether manually into ledgers or by entering everything onto a computer.

A good bookkeeper will ensure you have efficient accounting systems in place, which means you’ll be able to spend more time doing what you love and less time pouring over your books.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Why should I outsource my bookkeeping?”][vc_column_text el_class=”para” css=”.vc_custom_1533723556144{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Most small business owners don’t have the time or knowledge to effectively keep on top of their accounting and meet their compliance obligations.

Accountants usually charge considerably more bookkeepers do for the same services.

Some data entry people can help you the administration and reconciliation of your accounts, but they are much more limited in what they are qualified to do.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”What’s the difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?”][vc_column_text el_class=”para” css=”.vc_custom_1533723648961{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]A bookkeeper administers the day-to-day management of your accounting, which can include invoicing, preparing payments, bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll processing, preparing budgets, cash flow statements and management reports and filling monthly and quarterly BAS / IAS returns.

Your bookkeeper then passes this information on to your accountant, who will use it to prepare, lodge and file your yearly tax returns.
